Let’s just start by saying how fantastic the Departure rooftop is. This alone is a huge drawing point for the dining spot. It’s a modern twist on Asian cuisine located in a sleek Cherry Creek venue. The masterminds on the chef’s team reinvent the Asian menu by mixing in land and sea and putting a modern spin on traditional dishes. And don’t worry, their drink menu won’t disappoint either. Their specialty curated sake and whiskey options complement the dishes perfectly. When you’re done with your meal, there are also a few great places around to go for a drink or dessert to finish off the evening.

 

Mister Tuna

Chef Troy Guard opened this masterpiece in RiNo last summer, making it his eighth restaurant concept that was just as anticipated as each one before it. The theme of the restaurant came together by bringing influences from Guard’s childhood in Hawaii and his father, where a grill and a rotisserie work side by side to bring the delicious flavors to a plate near you. The specially crafted cocktails are another staple of Mister Tuna. If a cocktail isn’t your speed, they have a crafted and extensive wine list that’s sure to make you smile. The restaurant sits in an industrial space, housing multiple experiences throughout the bar. You can watch the chef team cook, check out cocktails in the making, or sip a cold beverage on the street-side patio.

 

Olive & Finch

With two locations in Denver, Chef Mary Nguyen knocks it out of the park with this venture. Their entire mission is to bring fresh, delicious food in a simple and quaint setting. All food is made-to-order so it’s ready for you and you only. They also provide you with a full arrangement of options, serving breakfast and lunch all day. For dinner options, they switch up their menu often and there are different specials every evening. From pastry to a sit-down dinner, Olive & Finch will be one of your favorites.
